Hello, I'm Talyssa! -
a Graphic Designer and artist that enjoys minimalism, soft pallets, clean compositions, outside-of-the-box packaging design, and anything related to print. Design is an outlet that allows me to put my thoughts into visuals with not only aesthetics but with meaning. I strive to live more intentionally and find joy in the mundane things in life, as having that mindset sparks much inspiration for my work. My ultimate goal is to be of help to others, whether it is my loved ones, friends, future colleagues, clients, or those in need. I want to see others succeed in life and be a part of their journey and growth while cultivating an attitude of empathy, humility, and integrity.
In June of 2022, I graduated from California Polytechnic State University of San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communication, a concentration in Design Reproduction Technology, and a minor in Packaging. I am open to work and am looking for internships or a full-time job to become established in my career and continuously grow in my skill set. I am eventually looking to relocate to Los Angeles, California by the end of 2022.
When I am not creating, you can find me at the nearest hiking trail or at the hottest food spot trying new flavors and cuisines from different cultures and backgrounds. I love working with my hands and have a lot of fun tinkering with mechanical keyboards, gaming controllers, and other electronic devices. Other hobbies include playing guitar/piano, gaming, watching anime, and making home-cafe style beverages.
